The Wicked: Part 1 (Science-Fiction Project)

Image
Hi, everyone! Guess what? Me and my friends were watching "The Wicked"🤯🤯🤯 Me and my friends at the cinema For me, I rated The Wicked 9/10 since I really like musical! I really like the story between Elphaba and Glinda throughout the story. How their friendship was formed even though at first they didn't like each other but as the story rolled out, they're bonding and formed an unexpected friendship. I personally like Elphaba's character. Because through thick and thin, Elphaba stayed to be herself and not changing just because someone told her to. Even if being herself could made the world turns its back against her, she'd stay being herself. Okay, moving on, we're going to talk about the elements of sci-fi in The Wicked Movie. There are three elements that I found, namely: Technology and Invention The future and the remote past Other places - planets, dimensions, etc. I'm going to break down the explanation on why did I think those three are count ...

History of Science Fiction

Image
Who doesn't know about science fiction? Usually futuristic, science fiction speculates about alternative ways of life made possible by technological change. Like fantasy, and often associated with it, science fiction envisions alternative worlds with believably consistent rules and structures, set apart somehow from the ordinary or familiar world of our time and place. Distinct from fantasy, however, science fiction reflects on technology to consider how it might transform the conditions of our existence and change what it means to be human.  Science fiction could be an expression of only modern technological, scientific, industrial society, appearing when preindustrial societies are transformed by an industrial revolution. Science fiction can be traced back to the early 1800s, when Mary Shelley wrote the novel, Frankenstein. This novel is often credited as being the first work of science fiction. Other early works of science fiction include Jules Verne’s novel, 20,000 Le...

I think the concept of the tree was close to some kind of a wishing tree since people were venting and hanged their hopes and dreams on the tree. The papers filled with writings and drawings about how the person who wrote it feels or they're spilling some secrets that ...

A Friend

Image
A picture of my best friend           There’s this best friend of mine. He really like the pop singer Ariana Grande. He is such a nice and kind person. He have this kind of curly hair, fair skin and a ‘puppy’ eyes. We were met when we were in elementary grade, we went to the same tutoring class/course and then we met again when we were in highschool. It’s such a shocking experience for both of us since we never see each other anymore and we were also shocked about how both of us ended up in the same highschool (my highschool is a specific vocational highschool ,imagine, among 300+ students in my middle school there were only 2 of us that went into that highschool and if we mention the name people would thought that it’s a hard school to get into and hard to learn that’s why we’re shocked to see each other there). We were so happy when we found each other again, it’s like, finding a beautiful rock in a river or when you succeded to catch a butterfly. He went...
